FLORIDA

Florida loves to run ball screens in several ways. Here, from a single high ball screen look, Florida runs a standard middle pick-and-roll play.

Another variation of the standard play is that #4 can set a back screen for #5.

Florida also likes to spread out and set ball screens, especially at the end of the clock. Here, #5 sets a side ball screen for #1 and #4 sets a down screen for #3.

Another variation of the spread is to run pick-and-pop with the post man starting low.

Here's another look at a pick-and-pop play from the spread look.

Several teams run a pick and roll play from behind, but Florida has mastered it, especially at the end of the clock. Here is one look with the dribbler going opposite the low post. The high screener will pop in the opposite direction of the point guard.

Here is the same play with the dribbler going to the same side as the low post. Again, the high screener will pop in the opposite direction of the point guard.

Florida even has the ability to run the pick-and-roll from a 1-4 low set. Here, #1 will start in a direction to prompt the weak-side post to set a ball screen. The pick-and-roll is initiated with the ball side post coming high to clear out the space.
