Sideline out of bounds play into a middle pick and roll.
#2 goes first and curls around #5 looking for a possible
backdoor. #1 is second as he looks to get the ball on
the inbounds play. Once #1 catches, #4 will pop to the
ball side wing and #3 will go to the ball-side corner.
#5 will come up to set the ball screen for #1.
Set play from Horns. #1 dribbles to the wing and the
ball-side wing (#3 in the illustration) will come off of a
down screen set by the ball-side post (#5).
When #3
catches, #5 will step out and set a back screen for #1.
If #1 does not get the ball, #5 steps out to catch at the
wing and #1 will go to the opposite corner. This will
set up a post up for #2.
#2 will come off of a stagger double set up by #'s 3 and 5.
When #2 catches, #4 will set a cross screen for #3.
Horns alignment with the posts trading before the play
begins. #1 enters the ball to #4. When this
happens, #5 sets a back screen for #1 to set up the UCLA
cut. #5 will step out and catch if #1 does not get the
ball.
