20 Quick Hitters for Scoring Against Man or Zone

As the head coach of the women's basketball team at the University of Louisville, Jeff Walz has built one of the best programs in women's college basketball that rivals their men's basketball counterparts.  Twice, the Louisville Cardinals have been the runners-up in the NCAA tournament and most of it is as a result of his team's execution of quick hitting plays.

Coach Walz shows his quick hitters from three situations: zone, man-to-man, and end-of-clock situations.  Also included are full-court quick hitters designed to get that last-second desperation shot that can send the game into overtime or get that big-time win when all is seemingly lost.

Tom Izzo: Winning Dead Ball Situations

Tom Izzo and his teams at Michigan State have prided themselves on being prepared for a variety of situations that arise during games.  His emphasis on "special teams situations" has resulted in several trips to the Final Four and a national championship in 2000.  In this DVD, Coach Izzo presents ideas on "special teams situations" that are designed to pick up 4-5 points per game more with proper execution.

For Tom Izzo, "special teams situations" incorporates five areas: jump balls, missed offensive free throws, baseline out-of-bounds plays, sideline out-of-bounds plays, and plays out of time outs.  All situations are presented with three goals in mind: score points, have a specific purpose, and have an inside option as well as an outside one.

This Week's Recommended Basketball Coaching Videos (Posted on October 14, 2014)

This week's featured basketball coaching DVD is Brad Underwood of Stephen F. Austin University.  Coach Underwood is a rising star in the coaching ranks after having led Stephen F. Austin to the third round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament on the strength of an overtime win over VCU.  Coach Underwood played at Kansas State for the legendary Jack Hartman and coached as an assistant coach under Bob Huggins and Frank Martin at Kansas State and South Carolina before taking the job at Stephen F. Austin.

Spread Offense

Having coached under Bob Huggins and Frank Martin as well as having played for Jack Hartman, Coach Brad Underwood takes you inside Stephen F. Austin's offense based in large part on the spread offenses that are on the scene in college football.  A scheme that is presented as "position-less" is designed with cutting, spacing, and passing to get high percentage shots for your team.

Starting with player positioning, Coach Underwood then adds the entries available and how to move once each entry is made to initiate the offense.  A number of basket cuts are made within the framework of the offense which puts constant pressure on the defense.  There are also counters to the various adjustments made by the defense to make the offense seemingly unstoppable.

Demonstrated in the DVD are 2-, 3-, and 4-player drills designed to teach fundamentals and the offense itself.  Great detail is given to each coaching point as it helps build the offense from scratch.

Mike Krzyzewski's Open Practice Series

Filmed over a series of clinics and practice from 2005 to 2008, Duke University head coach Mike Krzyzewski takes you inside basketball at Duke.  Coach K and his staff take you through a variety of drills designed for his team's practices, skill development of players, improving the shooting skills of his players, and an inside look at Duke's offense.

Open Practice: Team Practice Drills

Sharing the secrets of their success, Coach Mike Krzyzewski demonstrates the drills and practice habits of his basketball team that have made Duke one of the best college basketball programs in the country.  Several basketball fundamentals are developed from passing to shooting on offense and playing a tough brand of man-to-man defense.  These are drills that are a must for any coach wanting to improve their teams and to play a style of basketball similar to Duke.

Open Practice: Offensive Skill Development

Shooting, passing, dribbling, and player movement are all critical parts of any offense.  Duke's men's basketball team has been one of the best in developing perimeter and post players to play at the college level.  Drills to develop individual offensive skills are presented by Coach K and former Duke assistant coaches Chris Collins (current Northwestern head coach) and Steve Wojciechowski (current Marquette head coach).

Open Practice: Defensive Skill Development

A major point of emphasis for Duke University under Mike Krzyzewski has been their man-to-man defense.  This DVD presentation shows the basic fundamentals required to successfully defend from footwork to developing the proper stance.  Several build-up drills for the defense are also demonstrated starting with 1-on-1 drills and progressing to 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 drills before going to full team drills for man-to-man defense.  Also presenting in this DVD are former Duke assistant coaches Chris Collins (current Northwestern head coach) and Steve Wojciechowski (current Marquette head coach).

Open Practice: Shooting Drills

Teams at Duke under Mike Krzyzewski have been known for their ability to effectively shoot the basketball.  In this DVD, Coach K and his staff demonstrate 20 shooting drills that work on form and mechanics as well as the different maneuvers in Duke's offense.  This DVD features former Duke assistants Chris Collins (current Northwestern head coach) and Johnny Dawkins (current Stanford head coach).

Open Practice: Offensive Playbook

Duke's offense has been one of the most consistent in scoring the basketball under Coach K's tenure.  Presented are entries into Duke's motion offense and how the team transitions from their fast break offense into their half court game.  Also shown is Duke's zone offense using "Gap" and "3 Deep" zone offenses as well as several quick-hitting plays to attack a variety of zones.

BasketballCoach.com Presents: 50 Set Plays for Attacking Man-to-Man Defense

Championship Productions in association with BasketballCoach.com has put together what every coach looks for at every turn: plays.  Eleven of the very best coaches have had some of their best plays put together on one DVD.

Each of the descriptions were taken from the Championship Productions webpage that promotes the DVD/Download of the product being featured.

Mike Krzyzewski

Duke coaches Chris Collins and Mike Krzyzewski demonstrate the Elbow Series, complete with Elbow Weak, Elbow Up, and Elbow Get. Each space the floor for several 3-point shooters while freeing the rim from defensive protection.

Fred Hoiberg

Iowa State Head Coach Fred Hoiberg shares his 50 Pistol, 50 Dive Stick, and 50 Dive Special from a free-flowing, 5-out offensive formation. Utilizing dribble hand-offs and misdirection, these plays create multiple scoring options at the rim and from the 3-point range. Hoiberg also offers his Horns Handoff Burn, High Stacks Pacer, L, Owl, and High plays, giving you a variety of plays to create scoring opportunities from all areas of the court.

Tom Izzo

Michigan State Head Coach Tom Izzo offers his Chest, Chest Down, Thumb Down, Horns, and I plays. Each has sharp cuts, quick ball movement and misdirection to help your players score at the rim or complete a weak side shot attempt.

Larry Brown

Former NBA and current SMU Head Coach Larry Brown has his team run through Split, Horns, and Horns Shake to get his post players moving quickly from screen-and-roll perimeter action into low-block scoring position. See how your posts can take advantage of the defenders surrounding the action around the ball.

Gregg Marshall

Wichita State's Gregg Marshall pushes his team through 41 Iso, a play designed to use stagger screens to free up an open shooter if the initial baseline drive is cut off.

Greg McDermott

Creighton Head Coach Greg McDermott demonstrates a series of nine plays that start from the same formations; each has a counter that shows how a defense might play the various screening actions involved. Plays such as Blitz, Blitz 1 Down, and Blitz 1 Back take advantage of movement as a way to secure the post position for an easy score against an out-of-place defender.

Dave Paulsen

Bucknell Head Coach Dave Paulsen shares his V-Entry and Rip, which help create shots for players who may not be able to do so on their own. Using stagger screens, quick ball reversals into ball screens, and spacing puts the defense in difficult positions and aids in creating shots off the pass rather than the dribble.

Tim Floyd

UTEP Head Coach Tim Floyd shows his NBA influence with the 43 play. Court spacing and a high screen and roll leads to dribble penetration at mid-key with two shooters at the ready in the deep corners if the defense decides to collapse on the dribble drive.

Tara VanDerveer

Hall of Famer and current Stanford Head Coach Tara VanDerveer has her team execute Scram, a play designed to dupe the defense into overplaying a double screen, which leaves the screener open on a duck in at the rim.

Pat Summitt

Hall of Famer and former Tennessee Head Coach Pat Summitt, puts her team through Spin, Horns, and Horns 2, a series of plays designed to get the ball inside for a layup. Using block-to-block screens, duck-ins, or screen and rolls, she shows how to get the ball into the post off of a cut triggered by movement on the perimeter.

Bill Self

Kansas Head Coach Bill Self shares two key plays, Regular and Pitch Ahead, which are both designed to get the ball inside where he knows he'll have a size advantage. Stagger screens and ball reversals ultimately end with a high low setup with the low post having inside scoring position on an over-matched defender.

Coaching Middle School Basketball: Systems 4-Pack by Nick Cammarano

Nick Cammarano has proven himself as one of the best youth basketball coaches in the country.  His record at Frank Antonides Middle School in New Jersey has many wanting to know how to have a perennially successful boy's basketball program.  Coach Cammarano has posted eight seasons of 20 wins or more and two undefeated seasons including a team that went 30-0 in 2003.  His Systems 4-Pack gives insight on some of the schemes that he has used to amass a win percentage of .715 as a head coach over the span of 15 seasons.

Coaching Middle School Basketball: The Box Offense

Many youth basketball coaches struggle to find a way to have an offense that utilizes the strengths of their teams, provides balance, and is easy to install and teach.  Coach Nick Cammarano's DVD on the box offense goes through multiple sets and options that can be used to take advantage of your team's best players as well as keeping the offense simple for the players to understand and learn.  The DVD utilizes 5-on-0 and 5-on-5 teaching on the court as well as diagrams by Coach Cammarano to provide concepts for sound offense at the youth level.

Coaching Middle School Basketball: 3-2 Match-Up Zone

Coach Nick Cammarano takes you inside his 3-2 match-up zone defense that he has used during his coaching career to shut down offenses at the youth basketball level.  This DVD uses on-court demonstrations as well as illustrations on the whiteboard to show how the defense works and how to teach the defense with effective drilling.  Coach Cammarano also shows how to defend five different alignments against the zone defense that will turn your zone into a stifling force shutting down your opponents on a consistent basis.

Coaching Middle School Basketball: Baseline Out-of-Bounds Plays

Coach Nick Cammarano takes you through eight possible baseline out-of-bounds plays that can be run by teams at the youth level against either man-to-man or zone offenses.  Also presented are drills that can help players learn and properly execute the scoring options that will be used during the course of the game to gain an extra eight to ten points that could be the difference between winning and losing.  These plays will have your team executing special situations and scoring all game, every game.

Coaching Middle School Basketball: The Wheel Offense

At the youth level, coaches have a hard time teaching their players to attack a zone defense.  Coach Nick Cammarano utilizes a version of the Wheel Offense to attack zone defenses that he has used as a youth coach over the last 15 years.  Using on-court demonstrations and diagrams, Coach Cammarano takes you through a zone offense that allows for his teams to take advantage of the weaknesses of any zone as well as the breakdown drills necessary to teach the offense.  He finishes with 5-on-5 play to show where the gaps are in the zones and how his Wheel Offense exploits them.

Mike Anderson: Attack Drills for Up-Tempo Basketball

University of Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson has long been known for his having adopted the approach of Nolan Richardson's "40 Minutes of Hell" brand of basketball at his coaching stops at Alabama-Birmingham, Missouri, and Arkansas.  His latest DVD/Download from Championship Productions takes you inside basketball practice at Arkansas by showing how he builds his up-tempo style of basketball.

For his pressure defense (that keys his fast break), Coach Anderson takes you through possible trapping opportunities and a pressure half-court man-to-man defense that is broken down and taught to speed up tempo and create fast breaks.  He also uses conditioning drills to get the players into condition to play fast basketball for 40 minutes without wearing down while exhausting their opponents.

Finally, a four-on-four shell drill is demonstrated to show how the defense communicates and pressures the offense out of their comfort zone.  The half court defense that is taught is designed to never give the other team a break from the pressure.

Shaka Smart's 2013 Basketball Coaches Clinic: Bruce Pearl: Pressure Defense and Sideline Out of Bounds Plays

Coach Bruce Pearl's teams at Southern Indiana, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Tennessee were known for their aggressive and up-tempo style of play. Their calling card was their 1-2-1-1 full court pressure defense that has turned each of these programs into big winners and taken them to greater heights.  In this DVD/download presentation, Coach Pearl goes through all of the necessary details to employ a full court pressure defense that will create steals, give you a more aggressive team, and disrupts and exhausts your opponents.

Pete Gillen: Zone Offense and Special Sets

Coach Pete Gillen had a successful run as a head coach at Virginia, Providence, and Xavier spanning 20 seasons.  He uses his presentation with this on-court demonstration to go through the details of building a zone offense.  The 10 keys will help any coach who is attempting to develop a successful offensive system to play against any type of zone defense.  Also presented are several specials for end-of-clock and end-of-game situations regardless of what defense your opponent runs.

For that purpose, this week's featured coach is Dick Devenzio, a former player at Duke University and the founder of PGC Basketball.  Coach Devenzio wrote many of the definitive books on how to increase the basketball intelligence and the quality of your basketball team.  Many coaches, players, and teams have gone to the next level using the contributions he made to the body of timeless basketball knowledge.

Runnin' the Show - Who on your team is the extension of you on the basketball court?  How effective are they as team leaders?  As the coach, you have to find the people who can lead your team and help them be successful.  You as the coach also have a leadership responsibility to your team.  Find out how you can improve your leadership skills and those of the players on your team that you need to lead them on and off of the court with Runnin' the Show from Coach Devenzio.

Knight School: Teaching Coaches How to Coach - So much of coaching basketball goes beyond how to diagram plays.  Instead, much of coaching basketball is detail-oriented and focuses so much on how well you run the program as opposed to what you run on offense or defense.  Coach Knight's DVD gives you insight as to how he ran his programs at Army, Indiana, and Texas Tech that helped him become the first NCAA Division I men's basketball coach to reach the 900 win mark and win three national championships.  As an added bonus, Volume I of Coach Knight's book Basketball According to Knight and Newell (co-authored with fellow legend Pete Newell) is also included as a PDF file for your computer.

Duke Basketball: Tactics, Techniques and Drills for Man Defense - Duke assistant coach Steve Wojciechowski breaks down Duke University's man-to-man defense that has won four national championships and has become a trademark of one of college basketball's top programs.  Coach Wojciechowski begins by teaching the proper stance before going into breakdown drills.  Upon the completion of breakdown drills, live 5-on-5 drills take place that will turn your team into a stifling and stingy defensive unit.

CoachDeck - Basketball - Basketball practices can become monotonous and can become so slanted to working on one end of the floor that the other end gets almost neglected.  Avoid these problems with CoachDeck.  A series of drills are proposed that allow you to better organize your practices and make them more enjoyable for you and your players each and every day.

The items listed above are available individually or can be bought as a package at a savings of $73!

Andy Enfield: Up-Tempo Transition Game - No team made a more improbable run to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament than Florida Gulf Coast University did in 2013.  The team from "Dunk City" upset Georgetown and San Diego State before bowing out to Florida in the tournament, but not before their exploits became front-page news.  The high-flying style of play that Coach Enfield utilized led to many spectacular plays and major upsets leading Coach Enfield to be named as the new head coach at USC this past spring.

Andy Enfield's new DVD shows many full court drills that can be used by teams at any level of competitive basketball to develop this up-tempo style of play with many highlight reel dunks.  Placing his emphasis on spacing, speed of practice, and skill development, Coach Enfield's success in developing his team and style of play is demonstrated during this on-court clinic.

Geno Auriemma of the University of Connecticut is one of the greatest coaches in the history of women's basketball on the college level.  As the head coach at UConn, Auriemma has set numerous records including that of highest win percentage in NCAA Division I women's basketball history; the quickest coach in women's basketball to reach 500, 700, and 800 wins; and just now set the record for appearing in his sixth consecutive Final Four.  In addition, Auriemma's teams at UConn have amassed the two longest winning streaks in women's college basketball history at 70 (from 2001-2003) and 90 (from 2008-2010).

The level of success for Coach Auriemma at UConn has also translated to the international level.  The United States women's national basketball team under his leadership won the 2010 FIBA World Championship for Women and the gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

All Access Practice with Geno Auriemma - Coach Auriemma takes you behind practice at UConn with over 40 drills over a four-day stretch.  This four-disc collection profiles the women at Connecticut during the first four days of practice during the 2008-2009 season, the first of two back-to-back undefeated national championship teams.

All Access Practice with Geno Auriemma (2011-2012) - Filmed during UConn's historic and unprecedented run of consecutive Final Fours, Championship Productions took a look inside practice at UConn under Geno Auriemma.  Coach Auriemma shows off several individual and team breakdown drills for both offense and defense.

Geno Auriemma: 14 Drills for Building Offense - Coach Auriemma demonstrates 14 full- and half-court drills that are used at practice on a daily basis at Connecticut.  The drills start out as individual drills and build up to three-on-three offensive breakdowns including feeding the post, cutting, and spacing.

Geno Auriemma: 8 Essential Defensive Drills - Coach Auriemma demonstrates eight drills designed to build the defense that UConn has used during his successful tenure as head coach.  Emphasis is placed on individual defensive fundamentals including closeouts, blocking out on rebounds, and pressuring the basketball.  The DVD ends with shell drills including disadvantage drills of 6-on-4 and 8-on-5 sell drills.

Geno Auriemma: Dynamic Offensive Practice Drills - Coach Auriemma takes you through breakdown drills for transition offense.  Emphasis is placed on running the floor, passing and catching the basketball, dribbling and shooting.  Secondary offense is also demonstrated.

Geno Auriemma: Four Cornerstones of Half Court Defense - Coach Auriemma focuses his defensive attention on four aspects of defense: defending the baseline drive, guarding and trapping the post, closing out on the shooter, and defending the pick and roll.  On-court drills are used to demonstrate defensive drills that help achieve these areas emphasized.

Geno Auriemma: Teaching the High Post and Triangle Offenses - Two of the most successful offenses are demonstrated and blended by Coach Auriemma.  In all, eight breakdown drills for both offenses are demonstrated on the court.  Also demonstrated and explained are various entries to get into either offense.

Geno Auriemma: The 70-Minute Player Development Workout - During his time at Connecticut, Coach Auriemma has developed multiple Olympians, national players of the year, first-team all-Americans, and Big East Players of the Year.  In all, 20 drills are demonstrated to help develop great individual play that can be incorporated into any system.

Jim Boeheim of Syracuse University is one of three coaches to have won 900 games as an NCAA Division I men's basketball coach and has led Syracuse to their fifth Final Four in school history.  Of those five appearances, Boeheim has been the head coach for four and an assistant coach for the fifth.  He was also an assistant coach on the 2008 and 2012 United States men's basketball teams at the Olympics under the direction of Mike Krzyzewski.

Jim Boeheim - Syracuse Transition and Early Offense - Everyone knows Syracuse and their coach Jim Boeheim for their stifling 2-3 zone defense, but it has also been used as an offensive weapon.  Syracuse has used their zone defense to turn defense into offense with turnovers and long rebounds off of missed shots.  To make this happen, Coach Boeheim shows drills used to develop Syracuse's running game that has helped Syracuse to five Final Fours and a national championship under Boeheim's leadership.

Jim Boeheim 2-Pack - If there is one coach who could be considered the all-time expert at zones, it's Jim Boehim of Syracuse University.  Coach Boeheim presents a two-pack of DVDs that discuss his trademark 2-3 zone defense and a video on zone offense.  Both DVDs present both ends of the floor with how to run the zone defense and how to attack the zone.  Videos in this package include Jim Boeheim's Complete Guide to Zone Offense and Jim Boeheim's Complete Guide to the 2-3 Match-up Zone Defense.

Gregg Marshall has led Wichita State University to their second Final Four in school history.  His head coaching career began at Winthrop where he led the Eagles to seven NCAA appearances in his nine seasons which included an upset win over Notre Dame in 2007.  From there, he replaced Mark Turgeon as the head coach at Wichita State where he has led the Shockers to the NIT Championship in 2011 beating Alabama in the championship game at Madison Square Garden.  This year, the Shockers have defeated top-seed Gonzaga and second seed Ohio State.

All Access Wichita State Basketball Practice with Gregg Marshall - Championship Productions goes inside the practices of Gregg Marshall at Wichita State University.  The video focuses on how Wichita State builds their motion offense from scratch and how the Shockers coaches led by Coach Marshall break down game film for their players.  This video set also shows how Wichita State defend the pick-and-roll and installation of some offensive sets and inbounds plays.

13 Quick Hitters from the Triangle Stack Set - Wichita State's set offense has been used effectively to reach the 2013 Final Four by running quick hitting plays from their Triangle Stack set.  This set play offense is designed to run multiple plays out of one set that can take advantage of bad defenders or offensive players who are having great nights shooting and scoring.  Actions and sets included in this DVD presentation include UCLA action, 1-4 high sets, Flex action, and ball-screen sets.

Rick Pitino returns to the Final Four with his Louisville Cardinals as the top seed in the 2013 NCAA Tournament.  In stops at Providence, Kentucky, and Louisville, Pitino has led each of these programs to the Final Four on at least one occasion and led Kentucky to the 1996 NCAA Championship.  His career also includes two separate stints as a head coach in the NBA with the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics.  A finalist for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this year, Coach Pitino has inherited a team in each of his four full-time head coaching jobs (Boston University, Providence, Kentucky, and Louisville) with losing records and has guided them to the NCAA Tournament.

Rick Pitino 4-Pack - This classic package of DVDs first shot in 1989 covers the offensive and defensive aspects of basketball.  Presented on this video shot with Billy Donovan covers individual and team drills for both offense and defense.  The presentations cover individual ball handling, shooting, running the floor on the break, and conditioning with the ball on offense.  The defense used by Coach Pitino covers his man-to-man defense and patented press defense with drills that build from one-on-one all the way up to four-on-four before using the press defense in five-on-five situations.

Jeff Walz has had a remarkable run as the head women's basketball coach at the University of Louisville.  While his men's basketball counterpart Rick Pitino has gotten all the attention, Walz has quietly built Louisville into a bona fide national championship contender with a string of upset wins in the NCAA Women's Tournament.  In their 2009 run to the national championship game (which they lost to UConn), Louisville defeated #2 Baylor and #1 Maryland in the regional before beating another #1 seed in Oklahoma.  This year, Walz and the Cardinals knocked off #1 Baylor and #2 Tennessee in the regional to make it back to the Final Four.

This week's videos have an Iowa State flavor to them.  This week, we feature Iowa State women's coach Bill Fennelly and men's coach and former NBA Fred Hoiberg.  Coach Fennelly has been at Iowa State since 1995 and has taken the Cyclones to 13 NCAA Tournaments including four "Sweet 16" appearances and an "Elite Eight" appearance in 2009, two Big 12 conference tournament titles, and the Big 12 regular season championship in 2000.

Meanwhile, Coach Hoiberg, better known as "The Mayor" was a 10-year pro in the NBA with the Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls, and Minnesota Timberwolves.  In just his third year at his alma mater, Hoiberg has already been named Big 12 Coach of the Year (2012) and took Iowa State to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2005 and will most likely guide the Cyclones to their first back-to-back appearances since 2000-2001.

Bill Fennelly

2-3 Match-Up Zone Defense - For Iowa State head coach Bill Fennelly, playing his 2-3 match-up zone defense is a part of his core philosophy as a basketball coach.  Coach Fennelly's zone allows for his teams to play great team defense while avoiding fouls, guarding the other teams best offensive player, and to protect bad defenders on his teams.  Covered in this DVD presentation are the zone, drills for the zone, and trapping out of the zone.

High Intensity Practice Session - In his practices, Coach Bill Fennelly commits to three basic offensive fundamentals: passing, dribbling, and shooting.  This DVD presentation demonstrates a variety of drills that are designed to improve in all three areas.  Also covered are a number of half court sets run by the Cyclones as well as sets used to attack zone defenses.

Both videos are available as a package from Championship Productions in the Bill Fennelly 2-Pack.

Fred Hoiberg

All Access Iowa State Basketball Practice with Fred Hoiberg - Prior to the 2011-2012 season, Championship Productions was able to take an inside look at the Iowa State men's basketball program under head coach Fred Hoiberg.  "The Mayor" that season orchestrated the best turnaround in college basketball that season with 23 wins and a win over UConn in the first game of the NCAA Tournament.  This DVD pack covers Iowa State's multiple quick-hitting attack, various ways to cover the pick-and-roll, skill development drills, and a low post defense called "Fire" with complete coverage of the strategy and the coverage that goes with it.

Homer Drew: Winning at the Buzzer - Many games in basketball come down to the final possession.  This can mean the difference between winning and losing, between your season continuing in the postseason or coming to an abrupt end.  On this DVD, Homer Drew shows plays that he used to run in key situations at the end of games.  Included in this DVD is the play that Valparaiso ran with Bryce Drew to score a buzzer beater for a win in the NCAA Tournament on Valparaiso's magical run to the Sweet 16.

The Box-and-One Zone Defense - Using diagrams and on-court demonstrations, Coach Drew takes the viewer through the box-and-one defense and the way in which this defense is used against specific maneuvers.  Also included in the video are adjustments to turn the defense into a diamond-and-one or a triangle-and-two.
